During the Media Lab member events, E14 Fund organizes startup showcase where Media Lab startups present on stage in front of executives from 90+ corporations that support the Lab, faculty and staff. This is a unique opportunity for startups to access to the right decision makers with key customers and partners.
The Media Lab member companies include some of the world’s leading organizations and provide the majority of the Lab’s approximately $75 million annual operating budget, and their businesses range from electronics to entertainment, fashion to health care, and toys to telecommunications.
We invest in early stage, deep tech startups built by the Media Lab community. The typical first check ranges from $500K to $1M.
Not ready for a larger check? Just graduating and putting your team together? We have also launched a fellowship program to provide support to budding founders for whom a small, quick first check can get them off the ground.
E14 hosts regular events such as mixers for the Media Lab community. Recent events have included Boston, New York, San Francisco and Seattle. Events tend to be casual and informal get together for startups, students, alumni and faculty. See old friends and colleagues, find a co-founder, find a new career opportunity, brainstorm your next project and more!
E14 Fund collaborates with various initiatives across campus including Sandbox, STEX25, VMS and others.
